What Saharo provides — and what it does not.
Saharo provides non-medical dementia education, caregiver support, resource navigation, and care coordination. Saharo does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, provide medical or mental-health advice, prescribe or manage medications, perform clinical assessments, or replace physicians, nurses, licensed mental-health professionals, or other licensed healthcare providers. When needs fall outside our scope, families are encouraged to consult an appropriately qualified professional.

- Caregiver coaching on communication, routines and behaviors
- Family care planning and priority setting
- Non-medical care coordination and organization
- Resource navigation and community program research
- Family meetings and shared decision support
- Home and safety navigation (non-clinical)
- Care transition research and guidance
- Ongoing family support and check-ins
Saharo does not provide
- Diagnosing or treating medical conditions
- Medical or mental-health advice
- Prescribing or managing medications
- Clinical, nursing or occupational therapy assessments
- Psychotherapy or counselling
- Emergency or crisis response
- Legal or financial advice
- Guarantees of eligibility for any program or benefit
About the credential
A Certified Dementia Practitioner has specialized education focused on dementia care and supporting individuals and families affected by dementia. It is not a medical licence or a clinical credential.

Independent guidance
Saharo does not accept referral fees or commissions from home-care agencies, senior living communities, placement services, attorneys or other care providers. When resources or care options are suggested, the goal is to help your family make an informed decision, not to steer you toward a company paying Saharo.
Not an emergency service. Saharo does not provide emergency or medical services. If someone is in immediate danger, missing, experiencing sudden severe confusion, or having a possible medical emergency, call 911 or seek urgent medical care.
